The Carpet in the Russian culture is an integral part of the house and always present at the background of most of the family pictures . in most of the Traditional buildings in Russia the walls where made of wood and people used to hang Rugs on the walls as a better isolation against the cold.

At the 90's Russian immigration brought with it not only educated mathematicians but also many Persian rugs . and in somecases you can still find this carpets in Israel even today. Many families encloding our families insisted on hanging the rugs even here, in this hot sun,  turning the tiny apartments that were suposed to accommodate a whole family and a Grandma to tiny apartments with a huge rug on the wall.

We decided to represent this pan in the Russian culture by making en exhibit that simulates a photography studio where in the background there is a traditional Russian rug .

We invite the audience to participate in the performance exhibition and become russians for a moment.
